Meatballs with cream and tomatoes

 


Ingredients


Sauce Ingredients:

Cream: a cup

Tomato: 3 grains (peeled and grated)

Onion: 1 piece (grated)

Garlic: clove (crushed)

Butter: a tablespoon

Salt: half a teaspoon

Black pepper: a quarter of a teaspoon

Water: a quarter cup

Tomato paste: 1 tablespoon

Minced meat: 250 grams

Rusk: 1/4 cup

Eggs: 1 piece

Salt: half a teaspoon

Black pepper: a quarter of a teaspoon

Mixed spices: a quarter of a teaspoon

Vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon


How to prepare


Mix the ground meat, rusk, salt, pepper, mixed spices and an egg until the ingredients are combined.

Make medium size balls from the mixture.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat and sauté the meatballs slightly, then set aside.

Heat the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic for 3 minutes, then add the tomato paste, peeled tomatoes, salt, pepper and water and leave the mixture until it boils.

Reduce the heat and leave the mixture until the sauce thickens.

Add cream and reduce heat a little.

Place the fried meatballs in the oven dish and pour the creamy sauce mixture over the meat in the plate.

Put the dish in the oven at 190 degrees for 15 minutes.

Serve hot with vegetables or rice, to taste.
