Cake mix waffles recipe


  Ingredients:

360 g flour

160 g butter

4 eggs

2 tablespoons of sugar

400 ml milk

1 sachet of baking powder (7 g)

1 teaspoon of liquid or powdered vanilla (optional)

Preparation:

1. Melt the butter and let it cool.


2.Blanch the egg yolks and sugar then add the melted butter and milk.


3. Mix well and incorporate the sifted flour and baking powder together. Mix well with a whisk to smooth the dough.


4.Cover with a dish and let stand for 1 hour at room temperature (see note at end of article)

Preparation:

5.After standing for an hour, heat the waffle iron.


6.Beat the egg whites until stiff and incorporate them delicately from bottom to top with a spatula.


7.Pass an oiled paper towel over the indentations of the waffle iron to prevent the waffles from sticking and start cooking your dough. Use a small ladle to fill in the indentations. Cooking takes no more than 2 minutes for the waffle. In my waffle iron, I don’t have to turn the waffles to brown them on both sides.
