Butter: two thirds of a cup

Garlic: 3 cloves (crushed)

Flour: a tablespoon

Milk: a cup and a half

- Salt: to taste

- Black pepper: to taste

- Dry basil: a quarter of a teaspoon

Dried thyme: 2 tsp

How to prepare

In a saucepan, melt the butter, then add the garlic and saute until softened.

Add flour and stir well until golden.

Gradually pour in the milk, stirring all the time, then add salt and black pepper, stirring until you get the right consistency.

Add thyme and basil, and stir for a minute.

Remove the mixture from the heat and serve it hot.
