French Almond Biscuits
French almond biscuits are one of the famous types of biscuits or petit fours that are often served with ice cream at weddings and events or at any time with tea or coffee.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Total time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
sugar cup
cup crushed almonds
Half a cup of flour
pinch of salt
4 egg whites
cup of melted butter
¼ teaspoon almond flavor
Grated and roasted almonds
How to prepare
In a bowl, put the sugar, ground almonds, flour and a pinch of salt and mix them well.
In another bowl, mix the egg whites, butter, and the almond flavor, and stir well.
Then add them on top of the dry ingredients and mix until we get a soft, semi-liquid mixture.
On a tray with butter paper, we distribute the mixture using a spatula spaced apart, flatten them with a spoon, sprinkle on each circle of grated almonds, and put them in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes until the edges are browned.
When we take it out of the oven it will be soft, grab each piece and twist it on the rolling pin until it takes a curved shape, then leave it to cool and become crispy.
In this way, our recipe and health ended here.
