Baby Back Ribs In Oven

°3 pounds of kids' back ribs (2 bars)
°1 medium white onion (sliced)
°Sweet BBQ rub
°2 tablespoons brown sugar
°1 tablespoon of paprika
°1 teaspoon ground black pepper
°1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
°1 teaspoon garlic powder
°Half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper
°1 teaspoon onion powder

Directione

Preheat oven 275°F with rack in middle position & lined baking sheet with aluminum foil, set apart.
Removing membrane from back of ribs and discard. Rinse ribs under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
 
Sprinkling about half of season mix on meatier side of ribs. Rub the ribs so that they are evenly covered. Then flip the ribs and repeat.
Dry rub the ribs on a piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Make sure meat side is facing up. Cover the top of the ribs evenly with the onion slices. Wrapping ribs in aluminum foil also placing on baking tray. Ads
Bake for two and a half hours. Check the ribs to make sure they are tender. If they are not tender, cook for an additional 20 minutes and check again. Repeat until the ribs fall from the bone.
 
Generously coat the ribs with BBQ sauce. Grill or broil for 5-10 minutes until the sauce begins to boil and caramelize.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving
