Lemon Blueberry Bread



°½ cup softened butter
°¾ cup sugar
°2 eggs
°1 ½ cup flour
°½ tsp. baking powder
°zest of a lemon
°½ cup milk
°1 cup blueberries
°Juice of a lemon
°¼ cup sugar


Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat butter with sugar and eggs. Add the flour, baking powder and lemon zest alternately with the milk. Add blueberries. Place in a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350°F for 60 minutes. Pour the filling over the top while the bread is still warm.
