*Ingredients :
°1.5 lbs (680 grams) ground meat
°3/4 cup (190 ml) quick oatmeal (flakes) oats
°3/4 cup (190 ml) 2% milk
°1 egg
°1/2 cup (125 mL) onion
°1 and a quarter teaspoon of salt
°1/4 teaspoon pepper
°1/3 cup (85ml) ketchup
°2 tablespoons brown sugar
°1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
*Preparation :
Preheat oven 350°F (175°C). In a medium-sized bowl, combine the meat, oats, milk, egg, onions, and salt and pepper. Blend well with your hand to incorporate into the meat. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and press down well. In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar and mustard. Pour over the meatloaf. Baking in a preheated oven for 1 h and 20 min. Remove from oven and remove excess fat. If you ever prefer slow cooker meatloaf!
