Southern Peach Cobbler



  °½ cup of butter

  °1 cup white sugar

  °¾ cup self-rising flour

  °¾ cup of milk

  °1 can (29 ounces) sliced peaches in light syrup


*Step by step

Preheat oven 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place the butter in a deep 2-quart baking dish and place in the oven to melt.

In bowl, combine sugar & flour. Add the milk, little by little, until it is completely incorporated. Carefully pour over the melted butter in the dish. Spoon the peaches and syrup over the dough.

Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes, until crust is puffed and golden.
