Essential oils have the power to purify, sanitize and perfume the house and more particularly the kitchen.


The Rose

Place some green clay in a cup and pour a few drops of rose essential oil on it. Renew the oil regularly to make the perfume last and absorb bad odors.


The lemon

You can pour a few drops on the sponge you use to clean the counter or household appliances.

2. LEMON

To eliminate unpleasant cooking smells, squeeze a whole lemon and bring the juice to a boil with a little water and cloves. You will see that this trick considerably reduces bad odors.


3. ORANGE PEELS

They have a deodorizing power and you can perfume your kitchen with a good citrus smell. All you have to do is put a few orange peels in your oven and heat it for a few minutes at 180°.


4. THYME

It's a grandmother's trick that has survived the decades and is still used today. To remove persistent odors in a kitchen, boil ½ liter of water and add 2 tablespoons of fresh or dried thyme. The odors will fade and eventually disappear completely.


5. CINNAMON

Cinnamon is particularly good for removing odors when cooking fish. To get rid of it, put a stick of cinnamon in the equivalent of a bowl of water and heat the mixture in a saucepan. The fumes will absorb the smell of cooked fish, as if by magic.

8. COFFEE GROUNDS
