Patty Melts - Don't Lose This Recipe


°1 stick butter

°1 onion, halv & slice

°1 1/2 pounds ground beef

°Salt // freshly ground black pepper

°8 slice rye bread

°8 slice cheese

In skillet, melt 2 tsp of butter on heat. Throw in the chopped onions and cook slowly until the onions are golden brown and soft, 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In a medium bowl, mix ground beef with Worcestershire and some salt and pepper. Form into 4 pies.

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a separate skillet over medium heat. Cook the pancakes on both sides until fully cooked through.

Assemble the pie that melts like this: a slice of bread, a slice of cheese, a slice hamburger, quarter of a cook onion, other slice cheese also other slice bread. 

On a clean grill pan or in a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter and grill sandwiches until golden brown. Removing sandwiches also adding rest 2 tsp of butter to skillet. Return the sandwiches to the skillet and flip to the other side. Cook until golden brown and crunchy, and cheese has melted. Cutting it in half also serve directly !
