CREAM CHEESE SAUSAGE BALLS

 



Well, guess what? They’re back! Since the THM Friendly, Low Carb Bisquick Style Biscuit Mix is so close in flavor to the original Bisquick and because cheese and sausage are just always so rich and delicious…these Cream Cheese Sausage Balls just hit the “I need normal tasting food now” spot!

** Be sure to use full fat cheese and sausage in this one for best flavor and texture!


INGREDIENTS

1 lb hot sausage, uncooked

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup low carb biscuit mix

4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375F.


Mix all ingredients until well combined. Scoop out with a small cookie scoop.


Roll into 1-inch balls.


Place the balls on parchment paper, a silicone baking sheet or a well oiled surface and place in the preheated oven.


Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
