Ingredients:


1 1/2 lbs ground beef

1 small onion, diced

1 green bell pepper, diced

1 cup diced mushrooms

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup milk

2 eggs

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded provolone cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions:


Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.

In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and garlic until they are softened. Remove from heat and let cool.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Add the sautéed vegetables and the provolone cheese to the meat mixture and mix until well combined.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan and press it into an even layer.

Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top of the meatloaf.

Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
