  Chicken with chickpeas

  Breakfasts should not be too heavy and should be full of vegetables and protein. Rachel recommends the spicy white chicken meal, which is a snack packed with vegetables and protein and can be served with brown rice or cauliflower.


  Spray of oil

  1 onion

  4 tablespoons of green hot pepper

  2 teaspoons chili powder

  1.5 teaspoon cumin

  Half a teaspoon of Organo

  Half a teaspoon of dried coriander

  2 cans of chickpeas

  1.5 pounds chicken thighs / breast

  Half a teaspoon of salt

  4 cups chicken broth

  Lemon juice

  Coriander to garnish

  (Brown rice or cauliflower rice)

  How to prepare

  Heat oil in a frying pan and add onion, green pepper, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and coriander.

  Mix and leave until the onions are soft.

  Add the chickpeas, chicken broth, salt and pepper.

  Cook chicken until soft.

  Take out the chicken and chop.

  Add chicken to the broth, add lemon juice and coriander.

  In a blender, add chickpeas and water, mix until smooth, then add to the saucepan and stir.

  Served with a side dish of your choice
