Ingredients

- Eggs: 3 grains

- Powdered sugar: a cup and a half

- Butter: half a kilo (unsalted / at room temperature)

- Vanilla: a teaspoon

- Ammonia: 2 teaspoons

- Baking powder: a tablespoon

Orange juice: 1 tablespoon (powder)

Milk: 2 tablespoons (liquid)

Orange zest: 2 tbsp (for garnish)

Coconut: 2 tbsp (for garnish)

How to prepare

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.

Beat the butter in an electric mixer using the paddle attachment for 5 minutes, until the mixture becomes homogeneous and pale yellow.

Add orange juice powder and whisk until blended.

Add the sugar and beat for 10 minutes until the mixture becomes light and creamy.

Put one of the eggs, then beat and repeat the step with the rest of the eggs.

Add the vanilla and continue to beat for 5 minutes, until the color of the mixture becomes light and the mixture rises.

Sift the flour with the ammonia and baking powder over the butter mixture.

Add the milk and knead by hand until a dough is formed that does not stick to the hand and is soft.

Put the dough in the biscuit machine and press it from the back so that the biscuit beads appear in the form of the funnel added at the beginning of the machine.

Arrange the biscuit pieces on a non-stick tray, leaving spaces between them, and repeat the process until the quantity is used up.

Put the tray in the preheated oven for seven to ten minutes until crispy from the bottom, then raise on the grill until golden.

Remove the tray from the oven and set it aside to cool completely.

Transfer the biscuit sticks to a serving plate after they have cooled completely so that they do not break.

Decorate the biscuits with orange zest and coconut zest.
