6 people

Ingredients

- Flour: 4 cups

- Butter: three quarters of a cup

- Yeast: a tablespoon

- Salt: a quarter of a teaspoon

-

Powdered sugar: a quarter of a cup - Milk: a cup and a half (liquid and warm)

- Eggs: 1 piece

- Oil: abundant (for frying)

- Powdered sugar: a cup (for garnishing)

Cocoa powder: 1/4 cup (for decoration)

Milk: 3 tablespoons (liquid, for decoration)

How to prepare

1. Mix the flour with the salt, then add the butter to it and rub it well.

2. We make a hole in the center of the flour and put the yeast and sugar in it, then a glass of milk.

3. Beat the egg with the remaining amount of milk (half a cup) and add it in the center of the flour and knead all the ingredients until a cohesive dough is formed and leave for two hours to ferment.

4. When the dough has fermented and doubled in size, we cut it into 15 balls of the same thickness and put them on a tray greased with butter in the middle and leave it until it ferments and doubles in size again.

5. Empty its middle using small scissors, then fry it in oil over a medium heat and continue to stir until it turns red on both sides, and drain it.

6. For decoration: mix sugar with cocoa and then add a little milk until a heavy sauce is formed and decorate.
