How to make the French Madeleine


a cup of flour

two eggs

Half a cup of sugar

vanilla spoon

lemon zest

Half spoon baking powder

Half a cup of melted butter

How to prepare

In the mixer put the eggs and sugar and beat them well.

Then add lemon zest, vanilla and baking powder and mix well.

Then add the flour and mix with a spoon until the flour disappears with the mixture.

Finally, add the melted butter and mix until we get a soft dough, cover it and put it in the fridge for an hour.

We prepare a mold in the form of shells, grease it with butter, then sprinkle it with flour and shake it until we get rid of the excess flour.

After an hour, we take the dough out of the fridge and distribute the dough using the spoon on all the blanks of the mold. Then we put it in the oven at 180 degrees for a quarter of an hour. It will melt and take the shape of the mold and become golden.

After a quarter of an hour, we take out the tray and let it cool before serving it in a serving dish.
