French Madeleine


- Flour: a cup

- Lemon zest: a tablespoon

- Vanilla: a tablespoon

- Eggs: 2 tablets

- Sugar: half a cup

- Baking powder: half a tablespoon

- Butter: half a cup (melted)

How to prepare

Heat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.

Beat eggs and sugar well in an electric mixer.

Add lemon zest, vanilla and baking powder, mixing well.

Add flour to the mixture and mix with the rest of the ingredients until homogeneous.

Add the melted butter and mix well to get a soft dough.

Set the mixture aside in the fridge until it ferments.

In a shell-shaped mold greased with butter and sprinkled with flour, distribute the dough and then put it in the oven for a quarter of an hour until the face turns red.

Serve cold.
