To prepare the cake:

1⅓ cup flour

1 ¼ teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

⅛ teaspoon baking soda

8 tablespoons melted butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoons liquid vanilla

½ cup milk

To prepare the chocolate:

2 ounces unsweetened chocolate

2 ½ cups sugar

4 tablespoons melted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 tablespoons milk

How to prepare

Grease a 9-inch cake pan with non-stick cooking spray, then dust it with flour. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda and mix well.

Beat the butter with an electric mixer until the mixture rises and becomes creamy, then gradually add the eggs, then add the vanilla, then add a third of the flour mixture and half the amount of milk, then add another third of the flour and the rest of the milk and beat until the ingredients are well mixed. Add the rest of the flour mixture and beat for two minutes.

Put the cake mix in the mold and bake it for 25 to 30 minutes, then take it out and let it cool for 10 minutes.

We start preparing the chocolate, then melt it over steamed boiling water, stirring constantly, then set it aside for 5 minutes to cool.

Add sugar, melted butter and vanilla to the melted chocolate and beat on low speed until the ingredients blend, then add the milk gradually with continuous whisking.

Brush the vanilla cake with the chocolate mixture and then serve it.
