SALTED CARAMEL PEANUT BUTTER BOILED COOKIES

Love a great treat once in a while but don’t want to spend a ton of time making it? These no-bake peanut butter cookies are just the thing, and with a hint of caramel, these are extra delicious!

The recipe is really simple and takes almost no time to make. This is actually a great recipe to do with kids or a beginner. There is some stove-top work involved so if you are allowing kids to make these just be sure to supervise.

NO-BAKE SALTED CARAMEL PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

To start, simply take 1/2 cup light Karo syrup and 1/2 cup sugar and bring to a low boil in a medium saucepan. Be sure to keep stirring. Once boiling, remove from heat and add 1 cup peanut butter. You can use regular peanut butter, which is delicious on its own, but this time around we used the Skippy salted caramel peanut butter.

Stir until the peanut butter is melted, then add 2 cups Rice Krispies. Mix until coated.

Then simply drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper and let cool. They will be a little soft while still warm but as they cool they will set and firm up.

Yum!!!
