GREAT mashed potatoes

°1 kg potatoes (tender chair, mashed variety)

°2 cloves garlic

°15 cl of milk

°2 bed. fresh cream

°20g butter

°1 to 2 tbsp. coffee nutmeg

°salt pepper

Start by peeling your potatoes (cut them in 2 if they are really very large) then by rinsing them well, then put them in a pot, prepare the peeled garlic cloves for them, cover it all with cold water and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.

Cover, bring to a boil, then cook for about 25 minutes, until the potatoes are soft enough to mash. At the end of cooking, warm the milk. As soon as they are cooked, drain your potatoes and your garlic cloves in a colander, then mash them with a fork or a potato masher in a salad bowl, gradually adding the lukewarm milk, fresh cream and butter.

When the mash has distributed everything, all you have to do is season it with nutmeg, salt and pepper and enjoy it hot or warm, with sausage or cooked ham.

Enjoy !
