Ingredients
°1 pound fresh or frozen shrimp, peeled and deveined
°1 tbsp olive oil
°8 ounces fettuccine noodles, uncooked
°2 ½ tsp chopped fresh garlic
°2 tablespoons unsalted butter
°½ cup milk
°2 cups chicken broth
°1 to 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
°1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
°Small pinch of nutmeg (optional)
°Salt and pepper to taste
°Parsley for garnish
*Instructions
On heat, pour olive oil to the pan
Add the shrimp until cooked through. Seasoning with salt & pepper to taste
Put the cooked shrimp in a bowl and put on the side
Add butter and minced garlic to the same pan, sauté for 20 seconds
Add chicken broth and milk, whisk
Add the fettuccine noodles to the pan, cover and cook until Al Dente
Remove lid, lower heat to medium
Gently add whipping cream
Continue cooking until sauce begins to thicken
Add parmesan, nutmeg (if desired), salt and pepper
Return the shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat with the sauce. Combine the fettuccines in the skillet.
Garnish with parsley
