Old Fashioned Cream Custard Pie is grandma’s delicious recipe, its very easy to make too! With silky smooth custard, sensational flavor and just the perfect texture. You can even save time and just use a store-bought refrigerated pie crust or you can use your favorite homemade crust recipe!

Do you remember the way our grandparents used to cook with wholesome ingredients that everyone knew by name? There weren’t box mixes and shortcuts. What you put in a cake you pulled directly off the farm or the farmers market. This Silky Creamy Custard Pie reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. When she cooked everything seemed to come together so quickly and easily yet tasted so extraordinary.

It’s to die for it’s so good!Ingredients :

° 1 unbaked pie shell

° 3 large eggs

° ½ cup of sugar

° ½ teaspoon of salt

° ½ teaspoon of nutmeg

° 3 cups of milk

° 1 small spoon pure vanilla extract

How to prepare :

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk your eggs softly, and add sugar/salt/ nutmeg/ and milk. Beat nicely and poor to the unbaked pie box . Bake about 41 min . Remove to oven & cool. Spread the top of pie with cool ground nutmeg & serve.
