Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Recipe:

These stuffed cabbage rolls are a classic comfort food, filled with tender beef and rice and simmered in a rich tomato sauce. Serve with a side of crusty bread or roasted potatoes for a complete and satisfying meal.

1 head green cabbage

1 lb ground beef

1 cup cooked white rice

1 small onion, chopped

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes

1 tbsp tomato paste

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

1 cup beef broth

1 tsp paprika

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

Boil a large pot of water and add the cabbage. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the leaves start to soften. Remove the cabbage from the water and let cool.

In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, cooked rice, onion, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Carefully remove the thick stems from the center of each cabbage leaf and place about 1/4 cup of the beef mixture in the center of each leaf. Roll the leaf around the filling, tucking in the sides, to form a compact roll.

In a large oven-safe casserole dish, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the stuffed cabbage rolls, seam side down, to the dish.

In a small bowl, mix together the beef broth and paprika. Pour the mixture over the stuffed cabbage rolls.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.

Serve and enjoy your delicious stuffed cabbage rolls!
