Chicken teriyaki with slow cooker!


 


*Ingredients:


°2 pounds boneless chicken breast (or thigh quarters)

°1/4 cup brown sugar

°½ cup soy sauce

°2 tablespoons cider vinegar

°½ tsp ground ginger

°1 clove chopped garlic

°¼ tsp pepper

°2 teaspoons cornstarch

°2 teaspoons of water


*Instructions


Placing chicken in slow cooker.

In a medium bowl, combine the sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, garlic and pepper. Pour over chicken and cook over low heat for 4-5 hours.

Remove the chicken from the slow cooker, cut into cubes and set aside.

Transfer the cooking liquid to a skillet and bring to a boil.

In bowl, combined cornstarch and water.

Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the boiling liquid and simmer. Let the sauce thicken for 2-3 minutes, then flip the chicken.

Coat the chicken with the sauce and let warm.
