°2 ½ cups milk

°¾ cup sauerkraut, drained and chopped°

°½ cup white sugar

°3 eggs

°1 teaspoon vanilla extract

°¼ tsp salt

°1 pie shell (9 inches)

*Preparation of the recipe

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C), In a large bowl, combine milk, sauerkraut, sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt, Pour mixture into base to bake at 425 degrees F ( 220 degrees C) for 35 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the filling 1 inch from the edge comes out clean.
