Dump and Bake Meatball Casserole


 


You don't even have to boil pasta for this easy dump-and-bake casserole! With only 5 simple ingredients, your weeknight family dinner couldn't get any better than this!


This dump and bake dinner is definitely one of those meals! Italian food (and pasta in particular) has always been a huge hit in my household. However, the best part about this comforting dish is that you don't even have to boil the pasta!! Cool, isn't it?


You're literally mixing dry pasta, frozen meatballs (fully cooked), marinara sauce, and water together in a large baking dish. Cover and bake in the oven while you take care of the laundry, homework, feed the dog, and all the other 18909809832429508 items on your "to-do" list. Sprinkle lots of mozzarella on top so it eventually melts and becomes nice and gooey... and dinner is done!


This simple recipe requires only 5 ingredients that you can save in your kitchen for last-minute meals when you don't really feel like cooking.


*ingredients


°1 bag of thawed frozen meatballs

°1 jar of marinara or spaghetti sauce

°3 cups of water

°1 box of bowtie pasta

°1 c. Italian seasoning

°1 C. mozzarella

°¼ c grated Parmesan cheese

°casserole minced meat balls and bread


Preheat oven 400 degrees.

Add the meatballs, sauce pot, water, pasta, and Italian seasoning to a saucepan or skillet. stir until combined.

Cook covered for 35 minutes.

Cover with cheese and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes. Leave it for 10 minutes before serving.
