Do you have to use a lot of different ingredients to make layered cake bars? No, you don't even need 10 ingredients to make these sweet and satisfying pineapple cake pans, even though they are layered and awesome!

Today seems like a good day to give out a treat. If you have smashed pineapple in your pantry, I recommend using it to make this cut pineapple recipe! It is very good. There's a lot to love about them. It's sweet, full of pineapple flavor and crunchy.

These delicious cake pans are easy to make and so much tastier than anything you'll find in a bakery. It's easy to make and the whole family will love it.


°For the crust and filling:

°Pinch of salt

°1 C. all-purpose flour

°¾ C. butter, cold and cubed

°½ C sugar


°Pinch of salt

°2 large eggs

°½ cup flour

°1 ea. Sugar

°16 oz. Pineapple can be crushed

°½ cup sour cream


°1 C. coconut extract

°1 ea. Granulated sugar

°2 tbsp. CAD

Preheat oven 350 degrees.

Mix the flour and sugar together for the crust mixture.

Cut in cold butter to the mixture crumbles. Save 1 cup of this mixture for later use.

Place remaining crust mixture in bottom of well-greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bake for 15 minutes.

Mix the filling ingredients together and spread over the previously baked crust in the baking dish.

Top with reserved crumbled crust mixture.

Bake for 1 hour.

Leave to cook for 15-20 minutes

Whisk the frosting ingredients together until smooth.

Drizzle the frosting over the bars, adding half and half if necessary to reduce the frosting.

Cut it into slices and serve.
