Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole


You will like this homemade Tater Tot Casserole breakfast recipe make with sausage, eggs, cheese also of course Tater Tots!

This dish has always been (and still is!) a hit when I serve it. It's made with breakfast sausages, vegetables, cheese, simply seasonings and, course, tater tots. It's incredibly easy, delicious, filling, and simply delicious. There's also no flour, so it's a great choice for anyone with a gluten sensitivity.


°2 lbs hot sausage

°1 (30-32 ounce) bag of frozen tater tots

°1 teaspoon of salt

°1/2 teaspoon of pepper

°1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

°1/4 teaspoon onion powder

°1-1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

°1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

°8 eggs

°2 cups of milk

Prepare the oven and heat it to 175°C or 350°F.

Place cooking spray in a 9" x 13" baking dish.

Place a large skillet on the stove and heat over medium heat.

Add sausage, then cook until crumbly and browned. Scrape off any excess fat.

In a mixing bowl, add the sausage hash browns, cheese and tater tots. My heart mixes well.

Transfer mixture to prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.

In another bowl, add eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Whisk until well blended.

Pour the mixture into the bowl with the tater tots mixture. stir until blended.

Place in the preheated oven and bake for an hour or until tender.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes at room temperature.

Serve and enjoy!
