Parmesan Meatloaf

Parmesan Meatloaf is a savory and flavorful twist on the classic meatloaf recipe, incorporating the rich taste of Parmesan cheese. Here’s a simple recipe for you to try:Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds ground beef (or a mixture of beef )

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup milk

2 large eggs

1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Glaze:

1/2 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, eggs, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix the ingredients thoroughly, but avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender.

Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in the prepared loaf pan.

In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard to make the glaze.

Brush the glaze over the top of the meatloaf, covering it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). If the top begins to brown too quickly, you can cover it with foil.

Once cooked, let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Serve slices of Parmesan Meatloaf with your favorite sides.

Enjoy the savory and cheesy goodness of Parmesan Meatloaf! It pairs well with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
