Get the oven hot, about 375ºF. Lightly spray a 13x8x2-inch baking dish; put it aside.

Add salt and cayenne pepper to the chicken according to your taste; put aside.

In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the flour, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Separate the cornflakes crumbs and buttermilk into two small dishes.

Coat the chicken on both sides by dredging it in the flour mixture. The next step is to cover the chicken on both sides by dipping it into buttermilk. As a last step, cover each side of the chicken with cornflake crumbs.

After preparing a baking dish, add the breaded chicken breasts to it. You don't have to turn the chicken over while it's roasting; just bake it for 25 to 30 minutes, or until it's soft and the middle is no longer pink.
