 Banana Cake with Chocolate Chips


3 ripe bananas

50 grams of butter

1 plain yogurt

200 grams of sugar

5 eggs

200 grams of flour

7 grams of baking powder

100 grams of chocolate chips


Peel the bananas and place them in a bowl. Crush them with a fork, then add the yogurt and stir until well combined.

In another bowl, mix the room temperature butter with the sugar until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Incorporate the mashed banana and yogurt mixture into the butter and sugar mixture, stirring until smooth. Then, sift in the flour and baking powder, and mix gently with folding movements.

Add the chocolate chips to the batter and gently fold them in.

Pour the batter into a greased cake mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool before unmolding.
