Sweet and Savory Meatloaf

2 lbs ground chuck, lean

1 bell pepper, diced

1 onion, diced

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1/2 cup breadcrumbs, plain

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp onion powder

2 tbsp ketchup

4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp brown sugar, light

2 tbsp seasoning salt

1 tsp Accent seasoning

1/4 cup water 


Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chuck, diced bell pepper, diced onion, lightly beaten eggs, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, seasoning salt, Accent seasoning, and water. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it into a lightly greased 9×5 inch loaf pan.

Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) using a meat thermometer.
