COPYCAT JOE’S CRAB SHACK CRAB CAKES

Homemade imitation crab cakes are a very good version of the ones you can get at Joe's Crab Shack. You can make them at home but you will feel like you are at the beach!

Some of my favorite 30-minute meals are a "copied recipe" of some of my favorite dishes from popular restaurants. Today it's Joe's Crab Shack turn!

Crab is a summer delicacy that reminds me of my time on hand. It can be used in sandwiches and wraps for easy lunches, or in appetizers that are great enough as chips for any dinner party.

Today we are going to use it in everyone's favorite seafood dish - crab cake.

I love how replica recipes allow you to make a restaurant favorite at home. Many restaurant dishes are easy to replicate so that you can eat them whenever you want.

*ingredients

°1 pound of crab meat

°⅓ C. mayonnaise

°3 egg yolks

°1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

°1 c. Dijon mustard

°1 c. Lemon juice

°¼ tsp. black spice

°¼ C. chopped parsley

°1 ¼ C. bread crumbs

°Salt and pepper to taste

°frying oil

*Directions

Combine all crab cake ingredients in a mixing bowl and form the mixture into 8 evenly sized patties.

Heat about an inch of oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

Add the crab cakes to the heat and cook for 5-8 minutes, until cooked through and brown on both sides.

Arrange on a wire rack lined with paper towels before serving.

Enjoy !
