Iron Skillet Blackberry Cobbler

There is no better or easier way to turn fresh blackberries into a delicious summer dessert than with this Easy Skillet Blackberry Cobbler recipe. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a great summer dessert.

The little bread I make in the summer usually includes fruit. And I especially love shoemakers. The peach cobbler is my favorite, especially this peach and oatmeal cobbler.

Like most cobbler recipes, this one is just as simple. Melt a piece of butter in a cast iron skillet. Add a simple paste and sprinkle the raspberries on top. Bake until golden on top. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream and savor every bite.

*ingredients:

°6 tsp sweet cream butter, chilled and cut into pieces

°1 c self-rising flour

°Half a tsp of salt

°Half a tsp cinnamon powder

°1 c + 2 tsp of white sugar

°1 c full fat milk

°1 tsp of pure vanilla extract

°2 c of fresh blackberries

*How to make :

Preheat oven 375 degrees.

Coat 9-inch cast-iron skillet with nonstick cook spray. Adding cooled butter pieces to skillet.

Placing skillet in oven to butter melts.

In bowl, adding flour, salt, cinnamon, sugar, milk, and vanilla. Stirring to mix.

Removing skillet from oven (if butter has melt) adding mix to skillet.

Sprinkling blackberries on surface of the crust.

Baking at 375 degrees about 30 mn. Serving hot.

Garnished with scoop vanilla ice cream

Enjoy !
