Just got back from a seven day break from social media. He. She. It was. marvellous. I am a very anxious person whenever I hear her phone ringing or vibrating. I have my phone in do not disturb mode so it has less of an impact on me.
I go to the gym and I scroll on Pinterest. I'm sitting outside the grocery store trying to make a grocery list and the next thing I know I'm looking at my sister's friend's aunt's cookie recipe. When you take it all away, I'm focused. Tasks are done quickly. Indoor and outdoor workouts. Finished.
*ingredients:
°1 (12-16 ounces) pizza dough (depending on whether you want a thick or thin crust)
°1 lb ground meat
°1 package (1 ounce) taco seasoning
°1 (15 ounces) refried beans
°1/4 cup gravy
°2 cups grated cheddar cheese (or a mix of Mexican cheese)
°sliced olives (about 1/4 cup)
+Toppings: diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, sour cream and taco sauce
*Directions:
Let the pizza dough rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
While the dough rests, brown the beef in a large skillet. Add taco seasoning, add water indicated on package and cook according to package directions. sit sideways.
Preheat oven 400 degrees. Press or spread the dough onto a 12-inch pizza pan, pizza stone, or larger skillet (see note).
Bake for 8 minutes. Take it out of the oven.
In a small bowl, mix beans and sauce together. Spread a thin layer over the pizza dough. If you're using a 12-inch pan, you may not need all of it. If you use a larger pizza pan or a 9x13 pan, you'll use it all up.
Sprinkle with the mixture of minced meat, cheese and olives. Bake for 5 minutes or until cheese is completely melted. We take it out of the oven and put the tomatoes and green onions on top. You can add a little sour cream in the middle or let everyone beat it. Add taco sauce if desired.
Enjoy !
